This Salted Chocolate Peppermint Bark is by far one of my favorite holiday sweets. Place the sheet pan back into the fridge to harden this should take about 20 minutes. Press the pieces into the chocolate so they stick. If the white chocolate is too warm it could melt the dark chocolate and smear when you spread it, if that happens don’t sweat it because you’re covering it up with loads of peppermint! Once melted, pour the white chocolate over chilled dark chocolate. Once the dark chocolate has cooled, repeat the same with the white chocolate. Pop it into the fridge so it can cool and harden. Spread it evenly, or somewhat evenly and then sprinkle with the flaked sea salt. Pour the chocolate on a foil lined sheet pan. Then before all the chocolate is melted I remove it off the heat and let the residual heat melt any of the un-melted chocolate. Stir and let the steam melt the chocolate.
